Menhir is the third release from London based instrumental ensemble, Mit Hiss.

Written in response to cornerstone moments in their lives occurring seemingly simultaneously, Menhir at its core is about the contrast between doing and undoing. This seemingly fragile piano piece is underscored by a narration taken from an old dictaphone and further by murky synths and discombobulated clarinet.

Menhir gently deconstructs and dissolves, a nod to the ephemeral nature of things, to the beauty and mystery that we can experience while we are alive.
