Spy From Moscow brings the songs of London-based Irish songwriter Declan Feenan, whose music balances raw, grunge-inflected guitar with soaring, heartfelt melodies.

A captivating live performer, he’s toured extensively across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Following the release of his acclaimed debut album, Night Music, in 2024, he’ll be previewing songs from his forthcoming second album, Harbour Dogs, due this September.

Tara Rai is a British born (South London) Indian (Punjabi) multidisciplinary artist who weaves together primordial sonic tapestries through song.

Her debut EP Mauta (‘death’ in Punjabi) is a nod to the afterlife accompanied and co-produced by Alex Forster in 2023. Their second collaborative EP Bardo released in 2024 is a continued musical enquiry into the liminal space between death and rebirth.

Tara’s recent solo singles Set Sail Into Darkness and Rain (2025) are an honouring of the elemental forces that holds intrinsic capacities to transmute human suffering…

Keith Austin

Keith Austin is a songwriter from East London. As the frontman of Captain Black, a beloved fixture of the 2000s indie scene for their energetic live shows, he honed his songwriting craft through an interest in historical storytelling and folk traditions from both sides of the Atlantic. He went on to form The Border Surrender, whose carefully crafted songs and intricate harmonies found audiences across the capital in the early 2010s.

In the years since, away from the stage, Austin has been steadily writing spare, unhurried songs, drawing on the lineage and pared-back sounds of artists like Bert Jansch and Gillian Welch, with melodic instincts reminiscent of R.E.M. The lyrics deal in character and story — songs that borrow from American folk tradition but belong to English landscapes.

The live sound is built with Mat Martin (Kirsty McGee, James Brute), whose instinctive, idiosyncratic string playing pulls at the edges of the songs. Together, their instruments weave around Austin’s rough-hewn writing: warm, a little uneasy, and quietly compelling.
